However, Astrobiobites.org focuses primarily on the fields of astrobiology and origin of life research. The summaries provided here are specifically aimed at individuals who are not experts in these fields, as well as graduate and undergraduate students seeking an introduction to the latest research.

At present, the website is maintained by Alexandre Champagne-Ruel, a PhD student in physics at the Université de Montréal. However, if there is sufficient interest, it may expand into a larger project with contributions from other individuals.
